Let’s learn something from history.
Firstly, it was Emperor Constantine who, in the Fourth Century, “married” an apostate version of Christianity with the pagan practices of his day and called this new religion “The Roman Catholic Church”, for political expediency.
That is why you have practices such as Christmas (formerly known as the Roman festival of Saturnalia, which took place on 25 December, which entailed gift-giving, the tree being held as sacred, lights being used to light up the place due to the “death of the sun-god” on 21 December and the “birthday of the sun-god” on 25 December, feasts being eaten, etc. Anyone who can do maths can work out that Jesus was not born on 25 December, firstly because he was put to death on the date of the Passover (Nisan 14 on the Jewish calendar, which correspondes to our March/April time, depending on the new moon, etc) and he was put to death at 33 and a half years old – count back 33 years and six months from March/April and you do NOT get to December – it his birthday was likely in September/October time, and, secondly, that shepherds were watching their flocks by night – something they wouldn’t do in the cold, rainy season at the end of December.
That is also why you have Easter – NOT to be confused with the sacrificial death of the Christ, which every Christian is commanded to observe/commemorate on an annual (not daily or weekly) basis. Easter actually comes from the old pagan religions – Eastre/Astarte/Ishtar/Ashtoreth being the name for this goddess in Babylonian/Egyptian etc languages. Easter celebrations incorporate pagan fertility symbols, such as The Easter Bunny (rabbits – fertility), Easter Eggs (eggs – fertility) and various other aspects. I read the Bible every day and have NEVER read that Jesus commanded his followers to take part in pagan ritual observances, only to commemorate his sacrificial death and to meditate on what his sacrifice actually means for mankind in the future.
Those Christians who wish to remain true in their worship are not to pollute their worship of the only true God with pagan teachings, such as The Trinity, the immortality of the soul, and eternal hellfire, which are all blatantly pagan doctrines, originating from ancient Babylon.
Regarding the Trinity, the Bible clearly states that there is only one God, not three gods in one, and he has a personal name (YHWH in Hebrew but commonly called Jehovah in English). He is eternal in that he didnt have a beginning. Jesus, on the other hand, had a beginning as he is called the beginning of the creation by God. Jesus is not co-eternal with his Father, and is always subject to his Father in everything. And the holy spirit is not a person but God’s active force or power, which he uses to inspire people, to answer prayers, to enact miracles (such as the creation of the universe) and to encourage his people when they need it.
Regarding the immorality of the soul, Ezekiel 18 clearly states that the soul that is sinning will positively die. Elsewhere, we read that the wages sin pays is death. In Genesis, God breathed the breath of life into Adam’s nostrils and he “came to BE a living soul”, not have a soul. Also, the penalty for Adam’s disobedience was death. What would be the point in Adam dying if he were alive on another plane? More to the point, the immortal soul doctrine makes a mockery of Christ’s sacrifice, in that there would have been no point of Christ dying on behalf of mankind in order to redeem him for a future resurrection to eternal life if mankind were not really dead but floating around somewhere else. We ARE a soul, we do not POSSESS a soul. “I didn’t see a living soul”, we sometimes say. Also, “I feel it in my soul”. It is US, and not something we possess and leaves the body, DESPITE what worldwide religions teach, including the Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, Eastern Religions and others.
Finally, regarding the doctrine that a loving God would want to torture his creation in an eternal hellfire, this is something which has never come up into his heart, otherwise he would not be a loving father seeking the redemption of his children. It is found NOWHERE in the Bible, apart from a few mistranslated words where Sheol, Hades and Gehenna are supposed to be, from the original languages that the Scriptures were written in. The mistranslations appeared only after King James took it upon himself to do so at the behest of the church authorities. Sheol and Hades refer to the common grave of mankind, in which mankind sleeps and is awaiting the call of Christ to a resurrection (144,000 of which will be to heaven to rule with Christ over the earth in God’s Kingdom government – NOT to be confused with the new world order but the real New World Government which Satan is wickedly attempting to counterfeit in his twisted way – and also the rest of mankind who will be resurrected to life on a PARADISE EARTH, which the meek shall inherit, according to Psalm 37). Gehenna refers to the Valley of Hinnom, which was a rubbish heap outside of Jerusalem in Biblical times, and was a symbol of complete destruction, i.e. there will be no resurrection hope for those who end up in symbolic Gehenna, as they will have received God’s judgment of not being worthy of a resurrection as they are too selfish and unwilling to repent and do things His way, for the benefit of all, which is what his principles require us to do, for the long term blessings.
In conclusion, I am afraid that most of the world’s religions have originated from Babylon, hence why Revelation 18 refers to them as “Babylon The Great”. The amazing thing about Revelation 18 is that the whore of Babylon, who sits on the beast as a queen who will never see mourning, she is in for the biggest shock of her life. Firstly, she has committed fornication with the kings of the earth and the kings and the travelling merchants of the earth have become rich due to her shameless luxury and the whole world has fallen victim to her “spiritistic practices”. There are three aspects that prop up Satan’s world: Politics, Greedy Commerce and Religion. She is guilty of spiritist practices, which identifies her as Religion. She has also committed fornication with the kings and merchants, which shows she is not politics or finance. But by means of her, this whole sham of an evil system has succeeded. She is also accused of being bloodguilty – the blood of the holy ones and of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth. Anyone knows that most of the wars fought in this world have had some involvement/blessing from religion. Finally, she is supposed to be representing God and his teachings, but she has led mankind collectively to a point where man is at odds with their Creator, so she has brought a great reproach on God’s name. Hence, she will be completely “burned with fire”, i.e. Babylon the Great, the world empire of all false religion, will be completely destroyed – and by whom? By the beast that she rides, symbolic of Nimrod, the first ruler of mankind – i.e. by the very ones with whom she has prostituted herself – with the rulers, the politicians. They will do this out of their own agenda, but also “God will put his thought into their heart to carry out his thought”, thereby also being an expression of God’s Judgment for Religion that profanes His Holy Name.
It’s not really that much of a mystery. Why would God take the trouble to inspire the writing of the Bible if he didnt want his people on earth to understand it’s message?
It’s a simple message and, though the priests of these same religions who are part of Babylon the Great, do not want their people to understand the Bible’s message (probably for fear of exposure, just like the Pharisees of Jesus day, who put Jesus to death), nevertheless God will have the final say.
The time has come for judgment to be meted out. Armageddon is near and it cant come soon enough.
The Great Tribulation is what will cause suffering to mankind – I agree. But after the Great Tribulation, which is about to break out, will come welcome relief at Armageddon, which is not a nuclear holocaust but is God’s selective war to destroy evil – the very things that oppress mankind. All governments will be destroyed (Daniel 2:44), and there will be no more greedy financial system either (Zephaniah 1: 17,18) and there will be mo more false religion to hide behind (Revelation 18:21).
Finally, all will enjoy the peace of Jehovah in a cleansed new earth, with no one to make them tremble. Provided we as individuals survive. There will be a great crowd who do survive, who will have kept their integrity to God, and that opportunity is open to everyone who chooses to avail themselves, by exercising faith in Christ’s ransom sacrifice and by helping others to do the same, whilst respecting people’s free will. If God respects our right to free will, we all have to do the same likewise.
If we want to survive the destruction of Babylon the Great, we do well to heed the exhortation of Revelation 18: 4-8:
“4 And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues.
5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.
6 Render to her even as she herself rendered, and do to her twice as much, yes, twice the number of the things she did; in the cup in which she put a mixture put twice as much of the mixture for her.
7 To the extent that she glorified herself and lived in shameless luxury, to that extent give her torment and mourning. For in her heart she keeps saying, ‘I sit a queen, and I am no widow, and I shall never see mourning.’
8 That is why in one day her plagues will come, death and mourning and famine, and she will be completely burned with fire, because Jehovah God, who judged her, is strong.”
Please don’t fall for the Satanic Lie that the Bible cant be understood. The Bible’s message is simple. Flee from destruction by obeying Jehovah’s principles, just like Jesus did, and help others to do the same. Then you, too, can survive the end of this system to enjoy life in a peaceful new world, without Satan’s representatives, the Illuminati, to spoil the outworking of God’s purpose for the earth and for mankind. God will heal the earth and will do on a grand scale what was done when Jesus was ministering on the earth: he will raise the dead, heal the sick the lame and the blind, and he will forgive our sins so that we too, one day, will enjoy everlasting life on a paradise earth, as he had purposed for Adam and Eve to do, before they messed up by listening to Satan and rebelling against their Creator.
