Ban Home Food

Day by day America resembles a Fascistic Totalitarianistic Crony-Capitalist Oligarchy more and more while a Constitutional Republic is nowhere to be found. This comes in all shapes and sizes, from systematic dehumanization perpetrated by the TSA to the total control over food choice.

Not only has the Federal Government decided they have the right to decide what we can eat in our daily lives with the passing of H.R. 2751: the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act but now parents cannot choose what their children can eat at school either.

Now, unless children have a “medical excuse” they are forced to eat the government slop given to them and have no choice in the matter.

The Chicago Tribute reported,

“Nutrition wise, it is better for the children to eat at the school,” Carmona said. “It’s about the nutrition and the excellent quality food that they are able to serve (in the lunchroom). It’s milk versus a Coke. But with allergies and any medical issue, of course, we would make an exception.”

So parents are not able to pack healthy food choices for their children anymore? Now the Government literally has to force children to eat what the bureaucrats decide is the healthiest for them? That is pretty frightening especially given the food provided to children in public schools is on the level of the food given to inmates in state penitentiaries.

Bureaucracy is trying to take a hold of everything in our lives, including our own food choices as evidenced by the support of H.R. 2751 and programs like the one enforced in Chicago schools. No longer are we smart enough or responsible enough to make our own choices, even when it is choosing what we feed ourselves and our children.

This sets a disturbing precedent. It will not be long until we try to order a pizza and are told that we are not allowed to eat it because it is bad for us.

Next we will be in a grocery store trying to buy some sorbet and we are told by the clerk that the Government says we can’t have it. What will the Government not exert control over? Is there anything left for us to freely choose in this country? I sincerely hope that parents in this district and around the country will realize that this isn’t for the good of the children, it is to erect an all-powerful state that is unquestioningly served and followed by the masses.

If children are conditioned from an early age that the Government has more control over their lives than their own parents do, these children will grow up thinking that the state is god and must be followed unquestioningly. This is just one small part of the control grid being erected around us that is being designed to indoctrinate our children into a system of complete domination, no choice, and only the appearance of freedom.
