ABOUT 30 mg per liter of fluoride was accidentally added to Brisbane, Australia drinking water suppl

Dear P4SDW

Test results released this week showed that between 30 and 31 milligrams per litre of the unapproved, unregulated chemical called "fluoride" was released into Brisbane, Australia drinking water on May 1, 2009. The public was told May 14, 2009.

Current recommended fluoride concentrations in drinking water are 0.7ppm in Canada. The fluoride concentrations released into Brisbane, Australia drinking water was more than 40 times this "recommended" fluoride concentration.

The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (www.napra.org) states that “fluoride and its salts” are considered a drug:

Schedule I drug at doses greater than 1 mg requires a prescription.

Schedule III drug at doses at or less than 1 mg per dose can only be bought at pharmacies.

“Fluoride, when used in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in man or animal, is a drug that is subject to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulation.” SOURCE: United States Food and Drug Administration letter Dec, 2000, to Congressman Kenneth Calvert, Chairman, Subcommittee on Energy and Environment, Committee on Science, Washington, D.C.

Imposing unregulated chemicals used as a medication to entire populations, without a prescription, and without "informed consent" is simply unacceptable. In other words, municipalities are acting administering these unregulated drugs, without informing the citizens regarding risks and benefits, and without obtaining the consent of the citizens who must ingest these unregulated drugs.
