Billionaires and Imbeciles
Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Jamie Dimon, the highest-paid chief executive officer among the heads of the six biggest U.S. banks, turned a question at an investors’ conference in New York this month into an occasion to defend wealth.
“Acting like everyone who’s been successful is bad and because you’re rich you’re bad, I don’t understand it,” the JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO told an audience member who asked about hostility toward bankers. “Sometimes there’s a bad apple, yet we denigrate the whole.”
Dimon, 55, whose 2010 compensation was $23 million, joined billionaires including hedge-fund manager John Paulson and Home Depot Inc. co-founder Bernard Marcus in using speeches, open letters and television appearances to defend themselves and the richest 1 percent of the population targeted by Occupy Wall Street demonstrators.
If successful businesspeople don’t go public to share their stories and talk about their troubles, “they deserve what they’re going to get,” said Marcus, 82, a founding member of Job Creators Alliance, a Dallas-based nonprofit that develops talking points and op-ed pieces aimed at “shaping the national agenda,” according to the group’s website. He said he isn’t worried that speaking out might make him a target of protesters.

“Who gives a crap about some imbecile?” Marcus said. “Are you kidding me?”
‘Feels Lonely’
The organization assisted John A. Allison IV, a director of BB&T Corp., the ninth-largest U.S. bank, and Staples Inc. co- founder Thomas Stemberg with media appearances this month.
“It still feels lonely, but the chorus is definitely increased,” Allison, 63, a former CEO of the Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based bank and now a professor at Wake Forest University’s business school, said in an interview.
At a lunch in New York, Stemberg and Allison shared their disdain for Section 953(b) of the Dodd-Frank Act, which requires public companies to disclose the ratio between the compensation of their CEOs and employee medians, according to Allison. The rule, still being fine-tuned by the Securities and Exchange Commission, is “incredibly wasteful” because it takes up time and resources, he said. Stemberg called the rule “insane” in an e-mail to Bloomberg News.
“Instead of an attack on the 1 percent, let’s call it an attack on the very productive,” Allison said. “This attack is destructive.”
Income Tripled
The top 1 percent of taxpayers in the U.S. made at least $343,927 in 2009, the last year data is available, according to the Internal Revenue Service. While average household income increased 62 percent from 1979 through 2007, the top 1 percent’s more than tripled, an October Congressional Budget Office report showed. As a result, the U.S. had greater income inequality in 2007 than China or Iran, according to the Central Intelligence Agency’s World Factbook.
Not all affluent Americans are on the defensive. Billionaire Warren Buffett, 81, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., has called for increasing taxes on the wealthy, as has Patriotic Millionaires, a group whose supporters include Ask.com co-founder Garrett Gruener and Peter Norvig, director of research at Google Inc., according to its website.
“Rich businesspeople like me don’t create jobs,” Nick Hanauer, co-founder of aQuantive Inc., an online advertising company he sold to Microsoft Corp. for about $6 billion, wrote in a Dec. 1 Bloomberg View article. “Let’s tax the rich like we once did and use that money to spur growth.”
Two out of three Americans support raising taxes on households with incomes of at least $250,000, according to a Bloomberg-Washington Post national poll conducted in October.
Schwarzman, Paulson
Asked if he were willing to pay more taxes in a Nov. 30 interview with Bloomberg Television, Blackstone Group LP CEO Stephen Schwarzman spoke about lower-income U.S. families who pay no income tax.
“You have to have skin in the game,” said Schwarzman, 64. “I’m not saying how much people should do. But we should all be part of the system.”
Some of Schwarzman’s capital gains at Blackstone, the world’s largest private-equity firm, are taxed at 15 percent, not the 35 percent top marginal income-tax rate. Attacking the banking system is a mistake because it contributes to “a healthier economy,” he said in the interview.
Paulson, the New York hedge-fund manager who became a billionaire by betting against the U.S. housing market, has also said the rich benefit society.
“The top 1 percent of New Yorkers pay over 40 percent of all income taxes,” Paulson & Co. said in an e-mailed statement on Oct. 11, the day Occupy Wall Street protesters left a mock tax-refund check at its president’s Upper East Side townhouse.
‘Going to Vomit’
Tom Golisano, billionaire founder of payroll processer Paychex Inc. and a former New York gubernatorial candidate, said in an interview this month that while there are examples of excess, it’s “ridiculous” to blame everyone who is rich.
“If I hear a politician use the term ‘paying your fair share’ one more time, I’m going to vomit,” said Golisano, who turned 70 last month, celebrating the birthday with girlfriend Monica Seles, the former tennis star who won nine Grand Slam singles titles.
Ken Langone, 76, another Home Depot co-founder and chairman of the NYU Langone Medical Center, said he isn’t embarrassed by his success.
“I am a fat cat, I’m not ashamed,” he said last week in a telephone interview from a dressing room in his Upper East Side home. “If you mean by fat cat that I’ve succeeded, yeah, then I’m a fat cat. I stand guilty of being a fat cat.”
Job Creators
Wilbur Ross, 74, another private-equity billionaire, said in an e-mail that entrepreneurship and capitalism didn’t cause the financial crisis.
“Tearing down the rich does not help those less well- off,” said the chairman of New York-based WL Ross & Co. LLC. “If you favor employment, you need employers whose businesses are flourishing.”
That view is shared by Robert Rosenkranz, CEO of Wilmington, Delaware-based Delphi Financial Group Inc., a seller of workers’-compensation and group-life insurance.
“It’s simply a fact that pretty much all the private- sector jobs in America are created by the decisions of ‘the 1 percent’ to hire and invest,” Rosenkranz, 69, said in an e- mail. “Since their confidence in the future more than any other factor will drive those decisions, it makes little sense to undermine their confidence by vilifying them.”
‘Persecuted Minority’
Peter Schiff, CEO of Westport, Connecticut-based broker- dealer Euro Pacific Capital Inc., is delivering the message directly. He went in October to Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan, where Occupy Wall Street protesters had camped out, with a sign that said “I Am the 1%” and a video camera.
“Somebody needs to do it,” Schiff said in an interview.
Schiff, 48, disclosed assets of at least $64.7 million before losing the 2010 Republican primary for a Connecticut U.S. Senate seat, according to filings. He’s wealthier now, even though his taxes are “more than a medieval lord would have taken from a serf,” he said.
A clip from Schiff’s video was used in a Nov. 1 segment of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” in which comedian John Hodgman, wearing a cravat, called the wealthy a “persecuted minority.” He asked that the phrase “moneyed Americans” replace “the 1 percent.”
Neither term appeared in a Nov. 28 open letter to President Barack Obama from hedge-fund manager Leon Cooperman, the Omega Advisors Inc. chairman and former CEO of Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s money-management unit. Capitalists “are not the scourge that they are too often made out to be” and the wealthy aren’t “a monolithic, selfish and unfeeling lot,” Cooperman wrote. They make products that “fill store shelves at Christmas” and provide health care to millions.
Cooperman, 68, said in an interview that he can’t walk through the dining room of St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida, without being thanked for speaking up. At least four people expressed their gratitude on Dec. 5 while he was eating an egg-white omelet, he said.
“You’ll get more out of me,” the billionaire said, “if you treat me with respect.”

Canada Cures Cancer
Scientists cure cancer, but no one takes notice
Researchers at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada have cured cancer last week, yet there is a little ripple in the news or in TV. It is a simple technique using very basic drug. The method employs dichloroacetate, which is currently used to treat metabolic disorders. So, there is no concern of side effects or about their long term effects.
This drug doesn't require a patent, so anyone can employ it widely and cheaply compared to the costly cancer drugs produced by major pharmaceutical companies.
Canadian scientists tested this dichloroacetate (DCA) on human's cells; it killed lung, breast and brain cancer cells and left the healthy cells alone. It was tested on Rats inflicted with severe tumors; their cells shrank when they were fed with water supplemented with DCA. The drug is widely available and the technique is easy to use, why the major drug companies are not involved? Or the Media interested in this find?
In human bodies there is a natural cancer fighting human cell, the mitochondria, but they need to be triggered to be effective. Scientists used to think that these mitochondria cells were damaged and thus ineffective against cancer. So they used to focus on glycolysis, which is less effective in curing cancer and more wasteful. The drug manufacturers focused on this glycolysis method to fight cancer. This DCA on the other hand doesn't rely on glycolysis instead on mitochondria; it triggers the mitochondria which in turn fights the cancer cells.
The side effect of this is it also reactivates a process called apoptosis. You see, mitochondria contain an all-too-important self-destruct button that can't be pressed in cancer cells. Without it, tumors grow larger as cells refuse to be extinguished. Fully functioning mitochondria, thanks to DCA, can once again die.
With glycolysis turned off, the body produces less lactic acid, so the bad tissue around cancer cells doesn't break down and seed new tumors.
Pharmaceutical companies are not investing in this research because DCA method cannot be patented, without a patent they can't make money, like they are doing now with their AIDS Patent. Since the pharmaceutical companies won't develop this, the article says other independent laboratories should start producing this drug and do more research to confirm all the above findings and produce drugs. All the groundwork can be done in collaboration with the Universities, who will be glad to assist in such research and can develop an effective drug for curing cancer.
You can access the original research for this cancer here.
This article wants to raise awareness for this study, hope some independent companies and small startup will pick up this idea and produce these drugs, because the big companies won't touch it for a long time.

2011 Conspiracy Facts
Here are the top ten conspiracy facts that emerged over the last year:
#1 - Obama admits U.S. government used Guatemalan prisoners for illegal medical experiments
When we exposed the U.S. government's long list of medical crimes against humanity back in 2006, the mainstream media was silent (http://www.naturalnews.com/019187.html). People insisted the government was ethical and honest, and it could never be involved in crimes against humanity. (ROFL!) When the truth came out about Guatemalan prisoner experiments, however, it went viral so quickly the mainstream media couldn't whitewash the story. So now, the whole world knows the U.S. government and its National Institutes of Health (NIH) are medical criminals that murder innocent human beings in order to study new drugs for Big Pharma:
http://www.naturalnews.com/033483_G...
#2 - FDA caught using KGB-style infiltration and spying techniques to entrap raw milk distribution hub
It's legal to sell unpasteurized orange juice in America as long as you put a label on it, but selling unpasteurized milk earns you the "KGB treatment" from the FDA and the California Dept. of Agriculture, both of which have become criminal gangs running vindictive vengeance campaigns against target innocents. NaturalNews broke the story of how the FDA used spy cameras, secret infiltration techniques and other traps to gather evidence before raiding Rawesome Foods at gunpoint, then destroying $50,000+ in food in front of astonished witnesses.http://www.naturalnews.com/033428_F...
#3 - Institute of Medicine's links with military industrial complex exposed by NaturalNews
In yet another investigative story that NaturalNews broke in 2011, we dug into the funding sources of the Institute of Medicine and discovered it receives enormous financial support from the Pentagon, military defense contractors and numerous globalist organizations that profit from war. No wonder the IOM promotes vaccines so aggressively -- it's a war against humanity, waged one syringe at a time. Read more:http://www.naturalnews.com/033455_I...
#4 - USDA caught running animal mass murder programs to kill birds and mammals
To the shock of many, the USDA was exposed this year for operating mass-murder programs that target animals such as birds, foxes, wild pigs and other creatures. This is primarily accomplished with mass poisoning chemicals that also end up killing other animals such as Bald Eagles.http://www.naturalnews.com/031076_U...
#5 - Weather control technology confirmed and functional near Abu Dhabi
Mention "weather control technology" to your average fluoride head, and they think you're some kind of "wingnut" conspiracy theorist. Yet weather control technology is in full operation just outside Abu Dhabi, where a huge array of negative ion generators produce artificial rain storms that dump millions of gallons of fresh water on the desert landscape:http://www.naturalnews.com/030998_w...
#6 - InfoWars releases hidden camera water fluoridation video
Let there be no doubt about how dangerous, corrosive and even deadly those toxic fluoride chemicals really are. Alex Jones and the InfoWars team grabbed undercover water fluoridation video in Austin, Texas, and posted it on the internet. What's admitted on the video should be shocking to everyone:http://www.naturalnews.com/033753_w...
#7 - Documents prove Dr. Wakefield was innocent, BMJ conspired to discredit him
In a turn of events that has yet to be acknowledged by the mainstream media, Dr. Andrew Wakefield was proven innocent of the spurious charges leveled against him. Documents prove that he did not fabricate his research as was claimed by the medical journals and the mainstream media, including CNN. In fact, the accusation itself was the real criminal fabrication.http://www.naturalnews.com/031116_D...

#8 - USDA conspires with Monsanto to de-regulate GE alfalfa
There's nothing quite like GMOs to slow-kill an entire nation. You get increased infertility, organ toxicity and runaway environmental contamination, too. In 2011, the USDA went all out on attacking the world with GMOs, unleashing both GE alfalfa and GE corn on the U.S. public:http://www.naturalnews.com/031139_G...
GE corn:

#9 - FDA admits factory-produced chicken meat contains arsenic
In 2011, the mainstream media went crazy reporting trace levels of arsenic in apple juice, but it never bothered to report on the much higher concentrations of arsenic found in chicken meat. Our NaturalNews story on arsenic found in chicken meat received a whopping 78,000 Facebook shares in 2011, making it one of our highest-shared stories of the year:http://www.naturalnews.com/032659_a...
#10 - Merck vaccine scientist Dr. Maurice Hilleman admits vaccines contain cancer-causing viruses
Dr. Maurice Hilleman's secret vaccine recording emerged in 2011, causing shockwaves of disbelief to spread across the internet as people heard this Merck scientist laughing it up with other scientists as they joked about all the people who would die from cancer tumors after taking vaccine shots. You can hear the recording yourself on NaturalNews.TV. Click this link for details:http://www.naturalnews.com/033584_D...

(NaturalNews) Throughout 2011, health freedoms were under attack as both state and federal governments deliberately sought to criminalize foods, mandate vaccine injections and arrest parents who refused to subject their children to toxic conventional medical care.
Here are the top 10 health freedom stories of 2011, all reported here on NaturalNews:
#1 - Rawesome Foods infiltrated by FDA agents, then raided at gunpoint while government goons destroyed $50,000+ in wholesome food
It almost sounds like something out of North Korea, doesn't it? But it took place in Venice, California, where ego-maniac California Dept. of Agriculture agents conducted an armed raid, confiscated raw milk, then poured it all down the drain, thereby denying nutrition to the hungry infants and toddlers whose parents regularly buy that food. In a nation where children go hungry every day, it is especially notable that the government actively destroys food right in front of the citizens. It didn't take long before the California "goons and tyrants" squad was outed, and we posted their names and employment details online: http://www.naturalnews.com/033318_g...
Here are the key stories that reported on the Rawesome Foods raid as well as a timeline of FDA raids against farmers and food producers:

#2 - California Gov. Jerry Brown legalizes 12-year-old children to give "consent" to deadly vaccines
In a particularly insidious Big Brother power grab that cut parents out of the loop when it comes to injecting children with vaccines, Gov. Jerry Brown cemented his place in history as one of the most irrational, whored-out Big Pharma needle-slingers ever observed. Thanks to Jerry "the vaccine pimp" Brown, hundreds of children will die in 2012 from HPV vaccines, and countless thousands will be neurologically damaged, forced to live out their lives as cripples. This is the new Jerry Brown legacy: Neurologically damaged children, lying half-dead in hospitals, screaming for help from a state that seems quite content to just murder them with bad medicine.
http://www.naturalnews.com/033831_J...
#3 - Detroit SWAT team threatens Maryanne Godboldo while state steals her child, then rapes her
Detroit mom Maryanne Godboldo had a hellish year in 2011, first with the state demanding to kidnap her daughter because Maryanne refused to keep drugging her with psychiatric drugs. When the cops came to forcibly kidnap her daughter at gunpoint, Maryanne said no (no means no, doesn't it?), so the cops brought in the SWAT team for a 12-hour standoff. Maryanne was charged with multiple felony counts and her teenage daughter was taken away, where she was raped by state employees and infected with a sexually-transmitted disease. This is called "juvenile caregiving" in Detroit. Thanks in large part to the outcry from the alternative news media like NaturalNews and InfoWars, all charges were eventually dropped against Maryanne and her daughter was returned to her.
http://www.naturalnews.com/032089_a...
#4 - FDA tries to outlaw virtually all dietary supplements with new NDI regulations
2011 was the year the FDA unleashed its "nuclear option" against dietary supplements, attempting to outlaw virtually all such products by requiring supplement companies to seek "approval" for each ingredient they use in every formulated product they offer. If they use vitamin C in 10 products, for example, they would have to apply to the FDA for vitamin C approval ten times. Each application would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in research and effort, and the FDA could simply reject them all without any reason whatsoever. This is how the FDA plans to put the entire natural products industry out of business, thereby forcing sick, diseased Americans to buy prescription medications that only make them even more diseased. (Repeat business, see?)
http://www.naturalnews.com/032912_F...
#5 - EU bans health claim that water prevents dehydration
In one of the most moronic anti health freedom stories of the year, the European Union ruled against the laws of nature and declared that water cannot prevent or treat dehydration. This decision was widely ridiculed across the internet, and it made the EU look even more ridiculous than anyone thought possible. (The average IQ of a bureaucrat in Brussels, it seems, is roughly equal to the winter temperature there. In Celsius!)It also made millions realize more clearly why the EU is on the verge of collapse. No political union run by a cabal of babbling idiots in Brussels can possibly survive the test of time. And if they're uncontrollably IQ-impaired when considering the properties of an ordinary substance like water, imagine how idiotic their economic policies must be!
http://www.naturalnews.com/034204_w...
#6 - US Supreme Court surrenders its power to special vaccine court
2011 was the year that the Supreme Court declared it isn't supreme after all. Rather, it is subservient to the government-run vaccine court that functions as a "hush money" handout program to keep parents silent about how their children have been ravaged, maimed and even killed by vaccines.http://www.naturalnews.com/031453_S...
#7 - The Raw Milk Freedom Riders commit heinous food crimes right in front of FDA headquarters
In an act of civil disobedience, the Raw Milk Freedom Riders (www.RawMilkFredomRiders.com) openly committed "raw milk crimes" right in front of the FDA headquarters. (Gosh!)Operating a caravan of "terrorist" mini vans stuffed full of moms and children, they openly consumed raw milk and cookies and demanded to be arrested by FDA tyrants. The FDA, predictably, did nothing, proving that their raw milk laws are so un-principled that they will never enforce them in broad daylight.
A few weeks later, however, the mainstream media did run a bunch of stories warning people about the terrible health dangers of raw cookie dough. So I guess they really are terrorists after all, huh? Milk AND cookies! That's like a terror weapon in each hand...
http://www.naturalnews.com/034027_r...
By the way, the FDA operates a network of undercover spies and infiltration agents who slink around like Gollum, muttering things to themselves and using spy cameras to film raw milk distribution centers:
http://www.naturalnews.com/033428_F...
#8 - Collecting rainwater now illegal in many U.S. states
Although we first published this story in 2010, it experience a resurgence of popularity in 2011, achieving nearly 100,000 Facebook shares as it went viral across the 'net. What was the story about? How states like Utah, Colorado and Washington have taken steps to criminalize rainwater collection and thereby force citizens to rely on government-provided water sources (which are intentionally contaminated with chlorine and fluoride, by the way, just to poison people a little more).
#9 - Vegan parents in France charged with murdering their breastfed child
If you avoid toxic infant formula products and processed foods, you may be considered an enemy of the state! Only criminal parents dare to raise their children on wholesome, nutritious raw breast milk and unrefined plant-based food sources, didn't you know? Vegans must be terrorists, too!http://www.naturalnews.com/031883_v...
#10 - California ballot initiative aims to require mandatory labeling of GMOs
Finally, there's some good news on the health freedom front. A group of activists has organized a fairly well-funded effort to force food companies to label the GMO content of all food products sold in California. Led by activists like Ronnie Cummins (Organic Consumers Association) and Jeffrey Smith (Institute for Responsible Technology), this effort will be viciously attacked in 2012 by food companies who are scrambling to keep American consumers totally ignorant about the GMO content of their foods. They don't want people to know the truth about GMOs, you see, so they claim GMO labeling would "confuse" consumers. Actually, it would enlighten them! And it would force food companies to stop buying GMOs altogether, thereby ending the demand for GMOs and causing farmers to plant non-GMO crops. That's the whole point, of course:
http://www.naturalnews.com/033763_G...
NaturalNews, by the way, matched $15,000 in donations to the IRT from NaturalNews readers, achieving a total donation of over $30,000 to help fight GMOs. Throughout 2011, in fact, we made several key donations, and our non-profit Consumer Wellness Center awarded multi-thousand-dollar nutrition education grants to help teach women and children about nutrition:

BankOf Canada Sued
1) exposing the Bank of Canada scam and taking it to court... splendid!
2) www.pressfortruth.tv to launch a daily news program in January... splendid and good luck PFT!
Bank of Canada gets sued on Monetary Reform
Date: 19 December 2011
http://www.agoracosmopolitan.com/news/canadian_news/2011/12/19/2284.html
Canadian constitutional lawyer, Rocco Galati, on behalf of Canadians William Krehm, and Ann Emmett, and COMER (Committee for Monetary and Economic Reform) on December 12th, 2011 filed an action in Federal Court, to restore the use of the Bank of Canada to its original purpose, by exercising its public statutory duty and responsibility. That purpose includes making interest free loans to municipal/provincial/federal governments for “human capital” expenditures (education, health, other social services) and /or infrastructure expenditures.
The action also constitutionally challenges the government’s fallacious accounting methods in its tabling of the budget by not calculating nor revealing the true and total revenues of the nation before transferring back “tax credits” to corporations and other taxpayers.
The Plaintiffs state that since 1974 there has been a gradual but sure slide into the reality that the Bank of Canada and Canada’s monetary and financial policy are dictated by private foreign banks and financial interests contrary to the Bank of Canada Act.
Rocco Galati? Holy Cow!
Rocco Galati is a Canadian lawyer who specializes in terrorism cases. In 2001, he defended Delmart Vreeland at trial. He was Abdurahman Khadr's first lawyer. Shortly after Khadr's first press conference Galati resigned from all his terrorism-related cases, after publishing a threat left on his answering machine which stated: "Well, Mr. Galati. What's this I hear about you working with the terrorist now, helping to get that (expletive) punk terrorist Khadr off. You a dead wop."
Galati requested 24-hour surveillance of his house; when the RCMP refused to provide this, he declared that "we now live in Colombia because the rule of law is meaningless" and later indicated he believed the call came from American intelligence. Mr Galati went on to claim: ""The voice is similar and likely the same as a voice of someone who threatened one of our former clients," he said, adding later that "in that case, our client disappeared.""
Delmart Vreeland
http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=58172.0
Delmart "Mike" Vreeland (born March 20, 1966), near Grosse Pointe, Michigan became notable for claiming to predict the events of September 11, 2001.
Vreeland, wanted by police in eight Michigan jurisdictions for crimes like fraud and burglary was arrested in Iowa's Franklin County on October 20, 2004. According to Sheriff's Deputies, Vreeland ran an identity theft ring in the Detroit area for a few years and had felony convictions for breaking and entering and receiving stolen property. Shortly after the September 11 attacks, Vreeland apparently claimed that he wrote a note that foreshadowed those events while he was in prison.
Vreeland is reportedly considered a folk hero among conspiracy theorists who believe he is a spy for the Office of Naval Intelligence. Government officials reportedly denied that Vreeland ever served in the Navy.[1] Vreeland's various claims have included knowing the cause of death of a Canadian Embassy employee before it was officially released, working as an undercover American naval officer, and being the victim of a conspiracy of government officials attempting to keep him quiet. Police officers have reportedly characterized Vreeland as "a skilled con".[2]
In 2008, Vreeland was sentenced in Colorado to 336 years to life in prison after he was convicted of inducement of child prostitution, sexual assault, sexual exploitation of children and distribution of cocaine following his luring of two boys to perform sexual acts on-camera in exchange for cocaine, money and the promise of a drum kit.
1. Did Vreeland warn Canadian Intelligence in May 2001 about possible terrorist attacks on New York and the Pentagon?
2. Did he place the warning in an envelope while in prison in Toronto, Canada?
3. Where did he get his information?
4. Whom did he give the envelope to?
5. Why was he placed in jail?
Abdurahman Khadr
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdurahman_Khadr
Abdurahman Khadr is the third child of the Egyptian Canadian Khadr family, and was held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba, after being detained in Afghanistan under suspicion of connections to Al-Qaeda.[citation needed] He later claimed to have been an informant for the CIA, which the agency declined to comment on when asked for confirmation by Frontline. His younger brother Omar Khadr, captured separately, during a firefight, remains in Guantanamo.

Authorities Plant Explosives
The level of this BS is just getting sickening.
Guess this is no longer a "conspiracy theory," huh mainstream media?

Explosive planted in airport test
Irish police have released a man held over an explosives find, after Slovak authorities admitted planting them in his luggage as part of a security test.
The explosives were among eight contraband items placed with passengers at Bratislava Airport last weekend, broadcaster RTE reported.
The 49-year-old man unwittingly brought the material into Dublin when he returned from his Christmas holidays.
He was arrested on Tuesday morning but has since been released without charge.
Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern said he was very concerned that Irish police had not been alerted for three days.
Airport security detected seven of the illicit items, but the eighth - 90g of research development explosive - managed to escape detection.
Slovak authorities were reportedly trying to test screening procedures for checked-in luggage by placing items with unwitting passengers.
Slovak police alerted their Irish counterparts on Tuesday morning, and the man's flat near the city centre was cordoned off while bomb disposal experts removed the explosives for further examination.
The Irish Army said passengers had not been put in danger because the explosives were stable and not connected to any essential bomb parts.
The Slovak minister for the interior has expressed his government's "profound regret" to Mr Ahern.
An Irish government spokesman said Mr Ahern had "ordered a full report into what has transpired".
Airport security has been stepped up in many countries following an alleged plot to bomb an airliner over the US city of Detroit on 25 December, though it was not clear if the Slovak test was linked to such efforts.

Dublin Airport 'faxed about explosives plant'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8445799.stm
Dublin Airport authorities were told a man was due to arrive carrying explosives planted by Slovakian police, officials in Slovakia have claimed.
Stefan Gonda, 49, unwittingly brought plastic explosives placed on him to test security at Poprad-Tatry Airport.
Irish police arrested him on Tuesday, three days after his flight. He was later released without charge.
Dublin Airport has rejected claims it was told. It is believed a telex was sent to a baggage handling firm.
Slovak chief of border police Tibor Mako claimed a test sample of explosives had been attached to the straps of the man's backpack.
He said it was detected by a sniffer dog but a policeman forgot to remove the sample then failed to tell his supervisor that the explosives were on board the plane.
Ivana Herkelova, director of Poprad-Tatry airport in north-east Slovakia, said the plane was on the runway when the error emerged but the pilot decided it was safe to fly.
"I think that the Foreign Police units made a mistake here and the aircraft should have been prohibited from taking off," she told Slovak newspaper SME.
In a statement, the Dublin Airport Authority said it had no contact from the authorities in Slovakia until Tuesday.
Reports suggest the warning message was faxed from Slovakia to luggage handling agent Servisair.
When Irish police were informed on Tuesday morning, the man's flat near Dublin city centre was cordoned off while bomb experts examined the scene.
No complaint
Mr Gonda, a Slovakian electrician living in Dublin, was returning from his Christmas holidays.
His wife, Monika Gondova, told Slovak newspaper Pravda that he would not file a complaint against the police.
The explosives were among eight contraband items placed with passengers at Bratislava and Poprad-Tatry airports last weekend.
A spokesman for Irish Justice Minister Dermot Ahern said it "beggared belief" that the man had been allowed to board the flight, the Irish Independent reported.
He said the security operation was a "bit of a fiasco", but added that the minister had accepted an apology from Slovakia's deputy prime minister and interior minister Robert Kalinak.
Opposition politicians have called for Mr Kalinak to resign.
Slovak authorities were reportedly trying to test screening procedures for checked-in luggage by placing items with unwitting passengers.
The Irish Army said passengers had not been put in danger because the explosives were stable and not connected to any essential bomb parts such as a detonator or power supply.
Airport security has been stepped up in many countries following an alleged plot to bomb an airliner over the US city of Detroit on 25 December, though it was not clear if the Slovak test was linked to such efforts.
Predator Hunting Americans
A US family has been arrested with the help of a Predator drone, after a search for a missing cow did not go to plan.By “drone” we do mean military reconnaissance and assault flying machine used by the US Army and the CIA, mostly abroad.
This is the first time in American history that an unmanned aircraft has been used to assist police in making an arrest on US soil. To be precise, this is the same Predator drone that the US army uses in military missions across Afghanistan, Pakistan and any other theater of US-inspired conflict.
The drone was called to the rescue when… six cows went missing in North Dakota.
Nelson County Sheriff Kelly Janke went searching for them on the Brossart family farm, armed with a warrant. Next thing he knew, he was chased off by three armed men – Alex, Thomas and Jacob Brossart.
Next thing they knew – a mini army and a Predator B drone have been called in.
State Highway Patrol, a regional SWAT team, a bomb squad, ambulance, deputy sheriffs from three other counties and a drone arrived at the scene, reports the Los Angeles Times. The drone was on its way back to its hangar from a mission on the US-Canadian border, and since it had fuel left in its tank, the pilot agreed to send it to the farm.
The drone circled the farm while Janke and other officers watched live thermal images from the comfort of their van. Once the suspects had been spotted and it was confirmed that they were not armed, police moved in and arrests were made. A property search turned up two rifles, two shotguns, assorted bows and a samurai sword, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The missing cows have been found too.
A total of five people were arrested – Rodney Brossart, his sons Alex, Thomas and Jacob and their sister Abby. All face a total of 11 felony charges. Later they were all released on bail.
Earlier this year, Janke attended a briefing on how Customs and Border Protection drones can assist police, and when an opportunity presented itself, he called for the unmanned aircraft.
In November, the Federal Aviation Administration had been considering rules that would bring the controversial aircraft into the country. And voilà ! Here they are.
According to the Department of Homeland Security’s website, the government has already been using drones domestically for several years, but mostly keeps mum on their missions, saying only that they are regularly used for "support of disaster relief efforts."
But with missile-equipped drones causing thousands of deaths overseas, the introduction of a drone program Stateside could be detrimental to America as it would mean the government considered its own territory a war zone.
"It's going to happen," Dan Elwell, vice president of civil aviation at the Aerospace Industries Association, toldthe Times. "Now it's about figuring out how to safely assimilate the technology into national airspace.

Canadian High Treason
Yesterday’s announcement in Washington, D.C. of a Perimeter Security and Economic Competitiveness Action Plan amounts to the wholesale replacement of Canadian privacy and security standards with U.S. ones. The result is the virtual abrogation of the privacy rights of Canadians. This deal is nothing less than the integration of Canada within the US security regime without any protections for Canadians and other persons.
There are repeated references to “sharing information” and to “harmonizing” standards, approaches, processes or programs. Various security bodies will meet to decide standards, with no mention of the involvement of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. In fact most of the concerns raised by privacy experts in limited online consultations earlier this year appear to have been ignored. The perimeter action plan creates a clear and present danger for the safety of Canadians, who will be at even more risk of being labeled a security threat by the U.S., put on watch lists or otherwise denied the right to travel, with no redress mechanism. It is a complete rejection of the findings of Justice O'Connor and the Arar Commission.
We reaffirm our statement of principles on the proposed border action plan, in particular that no new security or information sharing initiative or recommendation should be implemented or substantially negotiated with the United States prior to an extended public and parliamentary debate in Canada.
We call on the government of Canada to provide a public accounting of current data-sharing arrangements between the Canada and the United States. And we demand that the remaining Arar Commission recommendations with respect to oversight of security activities and redress mechanisms for individuals be implemented prior to moving any further on the proposed perimeter action plan.

Stephen Harper and Barack Obama have agreed to a plan to smooth entry into the United States for Canadian goods and travellers that would see Canada work more hand-in-glove with the massive U.S. security bureaucracy to screen people and cargo for threats.
In return, the Americans are promising to negotiate agreements that will “pre-clear” U.S.-bound goods and travellers from Canada that are shipped by land, rail and water so all can pass more quickly across the shared border.

Canadian Sovreignty Lost
'Armed U.S. police officers will for the first time be allowed to operate in Canada along with the RCMP as part of far-reaching changes in Canadian-American border operations to be unveiled next week by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and President Barack Obama.
The joint action plan to be announced at the White House will also break new ground by introducing exit-entry records that will track the movements of everyone who leaves the United States or Canada, with the information available to authorities in both countries.
In the months and years ahead, the deal between Ottawa and Washington will reshape security, travel and commercial arrangements at the border in a variety of profound ways — some of which have already raised alarms among Canadians.'

Vitamin D Helps
While conducting the study, Mitsuyoshi Urashima and colleagues at the Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo administered only 1,200 IU of vitamin D daily to study participants. The researchers examined 430 children between the ages of 6 and 15 between December 2008 and March 2009. Half of the participants received vitamin D3 and the other half received a placebo.
At a dosage of 1,200 IUs per day, 334 of the children fully completed the study. In order to diagnose the presence of influenza Types A and B, researchers used nose and throat swabs on both groups. What they found was that only 18 of the children taking vitamin D3 were infected with influenza Type A, while the number rose to 31 in the placebo group.
Key to the post here is this is a great weapon to encourage everyone DO NOT TAKE VACCINES.
